Designed and built by Amaury Hocquet, combining acoustic treatment and full range speakers with room correction to offer precise monitoring conditions on the whole frequency spectrum, for a reliable sonic translation.

Thought to offer fast turn around and delivery, mixing and mastering is done 100% digitally, meaning no analog gear gets thrown inside the mastering chain.

Working in the box also allows perfect recalls of any sessions, facilitating quick revisions of your mixes and masters. Outboard gear has limitations of its own, such as physical presence that can affect the acoustics, and the number of instances that can be used at a time. Instead, a carefully selected palette of high end plugins is used to fine tune your music.

Every choice made for the studio is an incremental step towards a truthful restitution of sound, with below the measurements taken from the listening position.

Var smoothing of SPL

+/- 3,5dB Var smoothing frequency response down to 25Hz

The room shows the true colors of the mix.

Spectrogram

200ms decay down to 50Hz with a bump of 400ms at 50Hz and 550ms at 25Hz.

The room does not affect the tonal balance of the sound.

    Pulsar MKII

    Full-range monitors

Full range speaker incorporating a DSP with calibration code that completely flattens frequency, phase and impulse response.

  • Audeze MM-500 planarmagnetic

    MM-500

Reference headphones for detail work designed by renowned mixing engineer Manny Marroquin.

Planar magnetic headphones for detail work coupled to a Topping A30 Pro amplifier to bring its potential to the highest.

  • Acoustic Treatment

    AKM conversion chips.

    Lots of I/O options.

  • Speaker Stand

    Speaker Stands

    Sand-filled for added mass.

With a tubular design, composed of 3 metal cylindres, they are designed to work along with the Pulsar MKII, having the coaxial drivers at perfect ear height. They are sand filled to add weight, dampen the resonances and lower the vibrations especially in the low / low mid area.

The speakers are then separated from the stands with the use of sylomer pads in between to further reduce vibrations and increase decoupling.
